German WWI Ladies Patriotic Bracelet, Enameled Iron Cross, 1914-1916

Original era manufacture. A nice example of the patriotic fervor which swept Germany during the Great War. Gilded alloy wristband made in the design of an artillery projectile's driving band. On the front is an enameled Iron Cross and the date 1914 - 1916.  On one side is a small capture chain to prevent the bracelet from slipping off of the ladies wrist. When closed the wrist opening measures 60 mm.
