WWII Sleeve Shield for Aserbaidschan Foreign Volunteer-This is a first pattern beautiful BeVo patch in blue, red, and green over a black shield and a red background. The word Aserbaidschan is seen in red at the top of the shield. (Azerbaijan played a key role in the oil supply during the war, and the German Operation Edelweiss was meant to take the oil fields of Baku to cut off that supply.) This is excellent and unissued.
