British WWI 1895-97 Infantry Officers Sword, G.Boyton & Son Clerkenwell

Original era manufacture. Etched polished steel blade measuring 32.5 inches in length, running straight and true with an even steel patina finish. There are a few small nail catchers in the edge, more felt than seen, no corrosion issues. Pierced steel basket guard with a George V cypher, minor spotting and staining to the surface. Fish skin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. No scabbard.
