Waffen-SS Officer's Leather Belt & Buckle

Waffen-SS Officer's Leather Belt & Buckle (Feldbinde und Feldbindenschloß für SS-Führer). The aluminum type buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM ᛋᛋ OLC 36/38' indicating production by the company of 'Overhoff & Cie' from Lüdenscheid. The reverse of the buckle has a raised circular center piece with crimped edges to hold the buckle catch and crimped retainer for the prong bar and prongs. The buckle comes with an aluminum construction prong bar. The buckle comes together with its 95cms long sized leather belt, complete with one leather belt loop. The buckle shows some oxidation traces, the belt is not matching to the buckle and most likely the belt has been added to the buckle post-war by a collector. Scarce and hard to find original SS officer's belt & buckle in good used condition.
This belt originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture.
