Italian WWII Royal Navy Officers Dress Sword, Scabbard & Knot

Original era manufacture. A well made sword with a 31.5 inch chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side. The blade runs straight and true with no issues to mention. Fire gilt finish to the cupped guard, back strap and lion head pommel. The guard folds down and locks to the scabbard throat. White painted leather grip which is bound with triple strand wire. Matching gilt finish to the scabbard fittings with a black leather covered steel body. Minor surface scuffing to the scabard. Attached to the grip is a blue and gold striped cord tied in an intricate knot which ends in a gold wire ball. A nice clean sword.
