German M1852 Prussian Cavalry Officers Sword, F. Damaschke, Hoflieferamt Berlin

Original era manufacture. A beautifully made sword with a wide curved steel blade measuring 32 inches in length, displaying etched panels on both sides and the name F. Damaschke, Hoflieferamt Berlin on the spine. The blade is well balanced, running straight and true with minimal wear and use. Simple red felt bumper at it's base. Chromed steel basket guard with a leather finger loop. Black composition covered grip without wire binding. Matching finish chromed steel scabbard with two carrying rings. Overall the sword is a beauty.
