US Messenger Dog Collar 1944

Extremely rare original World War 2 leather US Messenger Dog Collar. Used for carrying important messages to troops by service dogs. The collar is nicely maker marked and dated 1944. Rare and hard to find original example in very good condition.
This item originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and is published in the museum's book as can be seen in the last photographs. (the book is not included)
