Soviet Post WWII Infantry Officers Visor Hat, 1950-60's, Large Size 60

Original period manufacture. A sound example in olive brown wool with magenta wool piping and band. Oil cloth chinstrap secured by movable-shank brass buttons. Rounded, pressed paper visor with a black gloss finish. Gray oil cloth sweatband with a dark grey cotton lining with a clear makers stamp visible. Large enameled red star on the front of the band. Scattered minor mothing in the piping, top and bottom edge of the cap band. Big size, about a 60 easily.
