Irish Republic WWII Helmet, British Shell, Eastern Command

Original era manufacture. An interesting helmet, being a WWII produced British Brodie helmet, overpainted battleship gray, with a hand stenciled emblem on the front for the Eastern Command.The liner suspension is size marked 7, with a 2nd pattern khaki non-elasticised helmet. The exterior of the helmet exhibits wear and chipping to the painted surface. Unusual helmet.
