US WWII Modified M1 Garand Bayonet, UC 1942, Clipped Point

Original era manufacture. Originally manufactured with a 16 inch blade, cut-down to a 10 inch blade during WWII, with a clipped point. Most of the original parkerized finish remains with clear markings on the ricasso. Mix of original finish and steel patina on the guard and pommel. Wooden grips which look to have been sanded. Original finish to the scabbard body with a steel patina finish to the throat.
