Belgian Post WWII Gendarmerie Shako, Rijkswacht

Original era manufacture. A handsome looking police shako with a dark blue wool body, with red piping. Bound visor, and silver wire decoration and cording.Red silk-like material lining, with a Gent retailers label inside, simple brown leather sweatband.The hat displays honest wear and use, with a several moth bites in the crown. Still quite sound for display.
