Very Heavily Service Used LW M35 Helmet, Droop Tail, Named

This helmet is well used but complete. It features a dark blue grey Luftwaffe finish, atop what appears to be a pea-green feldgrau factory finish. The helmet is an ET64 with unreadable lot number. The liner is the two-ply 1938 style, very used but fully intact. The chinstrap shows no remaining markings but is the M35 spec. The droop tail eagle decal shows age and weather crazing throughout, and remains mostly intact except for some abrasions and blemishes. The rear inner skirt is marked in red paint to an individual 'Lw. H. Ewald Ostringer(?)', with a Roman numeral III at the end. Overall a very well used but still presentable helmet– a combat example for sure. COA accompanies.
