Swastika belt buckle.

Available
£95.00

Description

This is a very interesting buckle. It is either an early Nazi sympathiser buckle or it's a 1930s US Army 45th Infantry Division belt buckle. The 45th used the swastika as their divisional symbol until old Adolf came along, where it quickly got changed to a Thunderbird. One collectors website mentioned that an identical buckle had been seen with Ges.Gesch marking which would indicate German manufacture and hence it would be a Nazi sympathiser buckle. If it is a 45th Division buckle then it would be quite a rare piece.Manufactured from blackened iron and completely unmarked.Friction fit fastening device to rear.WAS £115
