WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Officers Mess Tin

A WW2 Japanese Army Officers 'Hango' or mess / rice cooker set. The aluminium set comprises of the main mess tin, small tray insert and lid. This is a later war example without the metal carry handle.The set was manufactured by the Nigiriya metal company, Japan. This is one of the best condition examples I've come across, almost all of the original khaki paint is present on the lid and the body.The set measures 21 cm long by 7 cm wide and 8 cm tall.A very good complete example with no holes, dents or damage.
