WW2 Lee-Enfield Bayonet No.4 Mark II with Composite Straight Scabbard and Frog.

Standard No 4 Mk II spike bayonet with straight tubular black composite dome-ended scabbard and green webbing frog. Nice intact finish overall with a clean spike. The socket is over-stamped with several four-digit serial numbers. The spring-fixing is stamped with the square 'S' indicating 1941/42 manufacture by Savage Stevens Co of Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, USA. The scabbard mouth is unmarked.. The green frog is stamped 'M.W & S.1963 ON 2006' indicating manufacture by Martin Wright & Sons Ltd of Quorn, Leicestershire. Overall a nice interesting combination. BUYERS OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE ONLY.
