Imperial : German Prussian Medal Commemorating the Centenary of the Birth of Kaiser Wilhelm I.

Silvered-brass medal. 33mm dia with ring-suspender and black / white / red ribbon-bow. The obverse shows the crowned effigy of Kaiser Wilhelm I surrounded by a wreath. The reverse shows a monument surrounded by the circumscription 'Zur Hundertjahr Geburtsfeier S.M Kaiser Wilhelm D.Gr.' with the dates 22 März 1797 - 1897' The silvering has faded but the medal is still in nice condition.
