China : Medallion Commemorating the Centenary of Mao-Tse-Tung 1893-1993 in Fitted Presentation-case.

Large gold-coloured metal medallion (60mm dia) showing on the obverse the head of Mao with a Chinese character inscription and the dates 1893-1993. The reverse a mountain, building and more characters. The case is fabric-covered and contains a fitted flock base to accommodate the medal. This base can be lifted and supported to display the medal. The lid has a typically chinese closure arrangement. Excellent condition.
