Thin pressed-brass stick-pin lapel badge bearing 'Freiheit und Brot' (Freedom and bread) around the central date '29 März 1936'. Parliamentary elections were held in Germany on 29 March 1936. They took the form of a single-question referendum, asking voters whether they approved of the military occupation of the Rhineland and a single party lmembership in the new Reichstag composed exclusively of Nazis and independent 'guests' of the party.
