France : WW2 Mounted Pair of Medals - Médaille Militaire and 1939 Croix de Guerre with Palm & Star on Vichy Ribbon.

Médaille Militaire (3rd Republic) mounted on a ball-ended rod together with a Croix de Guerre dated 1939 on the black & green ribbon of Vichy France. The ribbon bears a bronze palm and star emblems. It is worth noting that the Vichy-government forbade the wearing of the 1939 Croix de Guerre with the red & green ribbon from 1st July 1941 onwards. The Médaille Militaire has no enamel damage and the pair are in overall nice condition.
