USA WW2 CHIN CUP FOR FLYING HELMET.

Unusual style of leather chin cup to fit a leather or cloth USAAF flying helmet. Tan leather cup with open central section and sewn with soft leather insert. Straps fitted to brass buckles ( similar to early paratroops type) and with press studs to attach to flying helmet . Possibly privately rigger made? Excellent condition, Grade 9
