BRITISH WW1 OFFICER'S COMPASS - ROYAL SCOTS

Original WW1 Compass. Brass case with flip up lid.. Working dial. WW1 period , privately purchased by an Officer in the ROYAL SCOTS. Stamped on the lid with maker's name RICHARDSON, ADIE & Co EDINBURGH. The base is engraved G L STEWART R.S ( ROYAL SCOTS). Retains almost all of the blackened finish and thecomposition material ring on the base is intact.
