RUSSIAN CIGARETTE CASE 1916

A very unusual IMPERIAL RUSSIAN, WW1 period PRISONER OF WAR made wooden cigarette case / tobacco box. Inset hinged lid with hand engraved dates 1914 and 1916, leaf design and Cyrillic lettering - translated as IN MEMORY OF THE WAR Set with an Imperial Russian army button . Overall in excellent condition for it being made of wood ! 12.5 x 8.5 x 2 cms. Grade 9
