Gilt and enamel shield-shaped pin-back unit distinctive for wear on a pocket fob. The reverse bears the makers name 'Y.Boussemart' and the pattern number H.170. The regiment was originally formed in 1764 as the Esterhazy- Houzard and became the 3rd Hussars in 1791.. Mint condition.
