Black and red enamel gilded-brass pin-back badge on a brown leather pocket-fob. No makers marks. The 4th Regiment was based in Grenoble and the '4' in the centre of the badge is surrounded by a 'G' representing both Génie and Grenoble. No enamel damage with only minor signs of wear to the leather.
