Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau Brass 'Go to Bed' Candlestick and Matchbox Holder, circa 1900

Here on offer is a beautiful antique art nouveau brass 'Go to Bed' candlestick and matchbox holder, circa 1900. It is not maker marked but is possibly French, given is attractive flowing lines. The handle is a curved section of smooth brass that flows from the lip of the candle holder to the edge of the base. It just fits your hand perfectly and makes it easy to carry. The matchbox holder is the type that pushes the matchbox tray open slightly, allowing easy access to the matches. The whole piece is in excellent undamaged condition and makes a wonderful display piece in its own right. It measures 7.75” (19.6cm) wide by 5” (12.7cm) deep and it is 2.25” (5.7cm) high.
