Vintage Regwell Control Desk Thermometer - Horse Stirrup

Here on offer is a vintage Regwell Control desk thermometer, in the form of a horse stirrup ornament. It is in excellent condition and full working order. The dial is printed with the maker's name, MADE IN ENGLAND, REGWELL CONTROL and the temperature scale is in Fahrenheit, ranging from -20 to 120. The thermometer itself has been set into a leather flap that hangs from the top edge of a miniature model of a chrome plated horse stirrup. There is a makers name “SILTOY or GILTOY” on the base of the stirrup. It measures 2.3” (57.8cm) high and weighs 62g.
