Here on offer is a WW1 Trench Art brass dish embossed with the Cornish crest and the words FOR DAD that you can just make out above the crest. On the back it is engraved with the soldier's name and a date: W. HOWARD Oct 31st 1917 This small brass dish has a crimped wavey edge and now shows usage wear to the Cornish crest in the centre. It measures 5” (12.8cm) diameter and weighs 92g. Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.
