Description
Early M35 helmet, started as an apple green double decal example. With the 1940 regulations the glossy apple green paint and national tricolor shield was overpainted using thick field green paint, only leaving the army decal visible. A new liner with steel band was installed during this proces. The liner shows heavy wear but remains supple. It still has its full lenght draw string present. The chin strap is a reproduction added by the previous owner. The helmet is named in the back as well. Maker marked shell by ET, size 64. Lotnumber 4899.Updated 1/4/2022 with new price
