WWII Miniature Escape Compass

A miniature escape compass used by RAF crews, Paratroops and SOE operatives. Working and still points north (ish) It has a bevelled glass edge. With some wear, black paint is 80% present. This is the most common model. Together with escape maps, a hacksaw blade and phrase cards Measures 1/2” diameter by 3/16” tall
