Vintage RAF Chrome Plated Wishbone & Wings Sweetheart Brooch c1950

Available
£15.00

Description

Here on offer is an excellent example of an RAF sweetheart brooch in which consists of a detailed RAF Crown and Wings emblem, set on a chrome plated wishbone. I think these where made just after the end of WW2, circa 1950. There isn't a maker's mark on this piece but it is very similar to the propeller brooches made by F.W.C & S Ltd. It retains its original long pin and “C” clasp on the reverse. The condition is excellent with no plating loss. The brooch is 1.5” (3.9cm) wide and weighs 4.2g. It would make a great addition to any vintage/WW2 jewellery collection. Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description. Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched. The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country. Thank you for taking the time to look.
