Vintage Hadeland Scandinavian Art Glass paperweight of an Inuit or Eskimo figurine c1960

Here on offer is a Vintage Hadeland Scandinavian art glass paperweight depicting an Inuit or Eskimo figurine. This stylish piece was designed by Benny Motzfeldt for Hadeland Glassverk, Norway. I believe it dates back to the 1960's. It has been handmade from clear lead glass and as such it is a very heavy piece for its size. It is in excellent overall condition, with just a couple of tiny nicks to the top circular edge. Please note, that being made of clear glass it is hard to photograph without refections in the images. There are no blemishes, it is crystal clear. It measures 2.4” (6cm) high and 1.75” (4.4cm) diameter and weighs a heavy 222g.
