WW2 Chrome Plated RAF “Wings” Sweetheart Bar Brooch c1940

Here on offer is a finely detailed example of a chrome plated RAF emblem sweetheart bar brooch, circa 1940. The bright plated brooch has a finely detailed RAF emblem, with spread feathered wings along with the Kings Crown and “RAF” letters. There is no maker's mark that I can see. The metal fixing pin fits neatly into a “C” clasp and the whole brooch is in excellent condition. The brooch (bar) is 2.5” (6.4cm) wide and it weighs 3g.
