Antique Bronzed and Gilt Pewter Art Nouveau Double Inkwell and Pen Tray

Here on offer is in an beautiful antique bronzed pewter art nouveau double inkwell and pen tray c1900. This very attractive double inkwell seems to have been cast in pewter that that now has a dark bronzed patina/finish. There are raised images of birds and foliage that have now have a rubbed gilt finish. The hinged covers still work perfectly and both clear glass inkwells are still present, one has a small section of the rim missing. It measures 7.2” (18.1cm) by 4.4” (11.2cm) and weighs a heavy 560g.
