Superb condition 1914 court mounted EKII maker marked EW. Pre 1916 Government standard unmarked 938 grade silver frame with a black finished magnetic iron core. Excellent crisp detail to the frame and core. Single court mounted with good condition ribbon. Backed in black velvet. Hinge, pin and clasp in perfect working order. Ribbon ring is stamped EW which according to the Wernitz book is attributed to Emil Wiechmann, Goldschmiedemeister of Berlin.
