Presentation RAF Squadron Leaders Glass Bottomed Pewter Tankard - “TUG Wilson” 1978

Here on offer is a fine example of a presentation RAF squadron leaders glass bottomed English pewter tankard. On the front it has engraved: Sqn Ldr “Tug Wilson” from his friends March 78 The tankard itself is in excellent undamaged condition and has a clear glass base and a maker's name: Pinder Bros of Sheffield. I can't find any details of RAF squadron leaders in 1978 but this does warrant further researching. It measures 5.2” (13.2cm) high by 3.8” (9.7cm) diameter at the base. It weighs 330g.
