Excellent condition large size funeral thank you card and envelope addressed to a Kurt Buschmann in Hamburg. Nice printed Iron Cross representation and Berlin address. Printed on excellent quality medium weight card stock. 15cm x 10cm It reads...'For the many tokens of sympathy for the soldiers death of our dear son Captain Fritz Buschmann. I would like to say thank you very much on behalf of all the bereaved'. Signed Generalleutnant Friedrich Buschmann z.V (not on active duty). He retired in 1942. Generalleutnant Friedrich Buschmann was an Artillery General and the holder of the German Cross in Gold, he died in 1959. Complete with the original envelope. AH stamp to corner. Worthy of further research. Nice piece!
