RAF wood and brass tankard made in Germany 1945 2nd TAF.

Superb turned wood half litre tankard with a brass liner inset. Hand carved into one side is a beautiful rendition of a Kings Crown RAF badge. Written on the bottom of the tankard is BAFO Bad Eilsen Germany 1945. The British Air Force of Occupation 2nd Tactical Air Force (BAFO) had their headquarters at Bad Eilsen till July 1945. Obviously made locally for the new occupiers. No damage. 13cm tall. Unusual piece!
