Excellent condition court mounted 1914 EKII and Hindenburg Cross with Swords for combatants. Between the wars/III Reich period EKII with silver plated tombak frame and a black finished non magnetic tombak core, scarce Cross! Frosted and burnished finish. Most likely an Assmann product.Bronze finished steel construction Hindenburg Cross, marked with the stylised A for Assmann and A & S.Trapezoid style ribbons mounted on a large nickel finished steel plate marked Ges.Geschutz.Bronze finished crossed Swords mounted to Hindenburg ribbon.Hinge, pin and clasp in working order.Nice piece!
