Antique Victorian Finely Carved 'Pea Pod' Needle Case circa 1880

Here on offer is an antique Victorian finely carved 'Pea Pod' needle case, circa 1880.The needle case has been accurately carved to look like a real Pea Pod, with the bumps of the peas in a pod and even a short stork.It has been hand carved from a natural material that is in excellent undamaged condition, with just some light age staining to the finish.The top section just pulls off allowing needles to be inserted or removed as required.It is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs and has a wonderful aged polished patina to its finish.This is a fine needlework tool that would make a great addition to any antique collection, dating back to the reign of Queen Victoria.It measures 3.75' (9.5cm) long and weighs 6.7gPlease see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
