Antique Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Gilt Brooch made from 4 x 1897 Farthings

Here on offer is a fine antique Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee commemorative brooch. The brooch has been made from four Queen Victoria mint condition farthings; all dated 1897 that have been over lapped and touch soldered together. The whole brooch has then had a gilt finish applied. There is a long pin and “C” clasp soldered to the reverse. The brooch is in excellent condition with most of the gilt still remaining. It measures 2.2” (5.5cm) wide and weighs 12g.
