1914 Metropolitan Special Constabulary Long-service Medallion.

Bronze medal, 32mm dia suspended from a decorative floriated pin-back clasp. The reverse of the medallion is plain whilst the reverse of the clasp is stamped with the makers mark 'J.R.Gaunt London'.. This medal was instituted in May 1917 for members of the Special Constabulary who had completed not less than 150 duties and served for at least two years during the Great War.
