Third Reich : German WWII Re-issued / Re-fitted M16 Steel-helmet.

A very nice re-conditioned M.16 style helmet, painted dark-green with Danzig police decals applied on each side. The helmet was officially re-lined with a M.31 liner plus chin-strap having been refurbished after the First World War and used during the period of the Third Reich. Excellent condition with minimal wear to the lining. No size stamp and the only visible marking looks like '1000' or 'BBB' stamped into the rim below the right-hand chin-strap fixing.
