The Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment Staybrite Cap-badge.

Anodised-aluminium badge with a slider fixing on the reverse. The slider bears the maker's mark 'J.R.Gaunt B'ham'. Worn condition. Originally formed in 1959 from the amalgamation of the Wiltshire Regiment and the Royal Berkshire Regiment, they eventually became part of the RGBW and thence part of The Rifles.
