WW2 Royal Engineers Silver and Enamel Sweetheart Bar Brooch

Here on offer is a great example of a WW2 Royal Engineers Silver and Enamel Sweetheart Brooch. The brooch has SILVER in raised letters on the reverse and tests positive for 925 Sterling grade silver. All the royal blue and red enamel is in place on the George VI badge. On the reverse it still retains its original long fixing pin and “C” clasp. It measures 2” (5cm) wide by 0.9” (2.3cm) high and weighs 4.2g. Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.
