Somerset and Bath Constabulary Queen's crown Cap-badge.

Brass / gilding-metal Queen's crown cap-badge with lug & split-pin fixing on the reverse. I can only guess that this is an unfinished badge which has not received its chromed and/or enamel finish. Nice detailed striking with recessed reverse. Somerset and Bath Constabulary was a short-lived police force in England which existed from 1967 to 1974. It was responsible for policing the administrative county of Somerset and the county borough of Bath.
