Third Reich : Black Leather Tear-drop Sword hanger with Nickel-plated Fittings.

Tear-drop shaped black leather sword-hanger with nickel-plated spring-clip in good working order. The hanger would be worn attached to the strap/clip inside a uniform jacket allowing the hanger to protrude out under the uniform pocket flap. These were worn by most services including SS, Wehrmacht, Polizei, etc.,etc. A useful accessory to complete a dress-sword. There is some minor wear to the nickel-plating on the spring-clip but otherwise very good condition. No maker's marks.
