France : Médaille des Evadés (Medal for Escapers).

This medal was initially created in 1926 to commemorate escapes carried out by prisoners-of-war during World War 1. It was later extended to cover WW2. Servicemen who died as a result of injuries received during an escape were posthumously entitled to the medal. 30mm dia complete with ribbon. Some surface spotting but generally very good condition.
