Imperial : WW1 German Prussian 1907 Pattern O-ranks Field Cap (Einheits-Feldmütze).

Nice original German Imperial Prussian enlisted ranks' field-grey cloth 'Krätzchen' with bright red cap-band and piping around the crown. The front has the national red/white/black cockade above the Prussian black & white state cockade. There is some discolouration and paint-loss to the white on the national cockade. The cap is lined with an off-white material which is stamped and dated with 'BA III 1917' for the Bekleidungsamt III based in Berlin. It is also size stamped '59'. The cap shows signs of age and wear but is clean and there are no holes, only a couple of minor clicks to the grey cloth. Overall this is a nice original and good-sized example which is now rather scarce. (Payment by cheque or bank-transfer preferred).
