BRD : German Bundeswehr Gas-mask Respirator and Canister with Carrying-straps.

Earliest pattern Bundeswehr respirator which is identical to the Wehrmacht standard issue, complete with all straps, etc. There is no filter included.. The storage canister tin is slightly larger than the Wehrmacht pattern and has a rubberised coating both for chemical protection and to stop noise. In the lid is a spare-lens compartment, etc. The canister is complete with its long and short carrying straps again in Wehrmacht style. Excellent condition. (The gasmask and canister straps would suit Wehrmacht re-enactors).
