Third Reich : Scabbard only for a Police-type Dress-bayonet.

I am not exactly sure what this very well made quality scabbard is ! It is of the police bayonet and diplomatic bayonet pattern, 35.7cm long consisting of seamless black leather over a steel body with polished steel satin-finish fittings at top and bottom. The fittings have holes for the usual staple securement to the leather but they are in fact secured at the sides with neat countersunk screws. The frog stud and mouth of the scabbard are brass. Excellent condition with only very minor marks on the leather. A Polizei dress-bayonet fits the scabbard exactly.
